IWRF World Rankings

To the right is the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) World Ranking List, effective November 30, 2007. 

Countries are placed on the World Ranking List based on the results of their National Teams during IWRF sanctioned tournaments. After each tournament, the positions of the countries that competed are re-arranged in the order they finished at the event.

Countries that have an opportunity to attend sanctioned events may lose their position on the list to countries which did compete. (This does not apply to events which are only open to countries from one zone.) For full details on how the World Ranking List is updated, consult the IWRF Competition Regulations.

In addition to the countries listed, the IWRF would like to recognize those countries that have recently begun to develop Wheelchair Rugby, but have not attended a sanctioned tournament. Those countries are:
