About the Rankings

Countries are placed on the World Ranking List based on results of their National teams at IWRF sanctioned tournaments. After each tournament, the positions of the countries that competed are re-arranged in the order they finished at the event.

Countries that have the opportunity to attend sanctioned events may lose their position on the list to countries which did compete. (This does not apply to events which are only open to countries from one zone.)

In addition to the countries on the Ranking List the IWRF would like to recognize those countries that have recently begun to develop Wheelchair Rugby, but have not attended a sanctioned tournament yet. Those countries are:
