Latest News

With only 2 teams for the event, Plan B – an evolving concept, was implemented. The event turned into more of a training camp, with games of mixed teams and training workshops. The Australian players have stepped into coaching and mentoring roles, working with the Indonesian players and coaching staff to develop game skills and strategies.
The Qualification Tournament will be sanctioned by IWRF for world ranking purposes and will include up to six teams selected by IWRF, including the host country. The event will be held between 1 March and 30 April 2016, and will determine the final two countries to participate in the Wheelchair Rugby competition at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
