The IWRF is seeking bids to host the first IWRF Asia Regional Championship. Up to four top finishing teams from the 2018 IWRF Asia Regional Championship will qualify to attend the 2019 IWRF Asia Oceania Championship (date and location to be determined).

There are around 276,000 people living with spinal cord injuries in the United States and 80 percent of them are men. While previous studies have shown that participation in adaptive sports in general has a positive impact on mental health, this is the first study to focus on frequency of practice in just one sport.
The Qualification Tournament will bring together eight countries to determine which will qualify for the last four positions at the GIO 2018 IWRF World Championship, to be held in Sydney, Australia, from August 5 to 10, 2018.
