Draw complete for IWRF 2017 European Championship

The draw for the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation European Championship Division A was conducted today, March 20, 2017, in Koblenz, Germany, at 3:30 pm Central European Time. The draw was conducted by the Koblenz 2017 Organizing Committee in the presence of the Mayor of Koblenz and under the supervision of IWRF.

 

Teams were drawn in pairs based on their current IWRF World Ranking, with Host Country Germany choosing their pool at the end of the draw. The results are as follows:

The 2017 European Championship, Division A, will take place at the CONLOG Arena in Koblenz from June 24 to July 1, 2017. The event is a direct qualifier for the 2018 IWRF World Championship in Sydney, Australia, with the top four teams securing spots at Worlds. Teams finishing out of the top four will still have a chance to qualify through the World Championship Qualification Tournament, to be held in early 2018.
