Deadline to register for Asia wheelchair rugby clinic nearing

The International Wheelchair Rugby Federation, with the support of the Agitos Foundation, will be hosting a wheelchair rugby clinic in Bali, Indonesia, from June 9 to 13, 2016.

This is an introductory clinic for athletes, coaches, referees, classifiers and volunteers. No knowledge or experience of wheelchair rugby is required to participate.

We currently have attendees from Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Timor L’este and Singapore, but still have room available for others interested in learning about wheelchair rugby.

The aim of the clinic is to introduce new participants to the sport and give them knowledge and information to assist them in developing wheelchair rugby programs in their home countries. The clinic trainers are internationally experienced athletes, coaches, and officials who are recognized experts in their area of this sport.  There will be plenty of discussion and practical advice.

This clinic is a great opportunity for athletes, officials, and volunteers from your country to learn more about this exciting and fast-growing Paralympic sport. To learn more download this clinic document or contact us by email. Deadline for registration is Friday May 27, 2016
