Game 3 Recap: CAN vs AUS

The question on everyone’s mind is: can anyone stop Ryley “The Batman” Batt? Supported by the speed and offensive firepower of Chris Bond, Batt showed off his talents against the Canadian team, accumulating an impressive 37 goals and 5 steals. Team Canada won the tipoff and scored the first points, but Australia quickly forced two turnovers. The gritty Canadian team led by Fabien Lavoie, David Willsie and Garett Hickling hung around, keeping the game within four points for much of the match. As the physical Australian press began to wear them down, however, they began to turn the ball over and fall deeper behind. Australia racked up 10 steals and forced 7 turnovers, ending the game up 64-52.
